The Faculty annual Summer School is one of the world’s best-known astrological events, attracting students from many countries to the beautiful city of Oxford to enjoy the weekend and five-day courses.

The programme caters for a range of levels, from relative beginners through to students and practitioners at advanced or professional level. With our world-class team of experienced guest tutors providing an exciting and dynamic programme of study, Summer School offers you a chance to work in depth with astrology, developing knowledge of new subjects and techniques, and deepening your understanding of existing ones. The Faculty will do its very best to make you feel welcome and at home. Toby Aldren

Toby is a Faculty tutor for both online classes and distance learning via email. He gained his Diploma in 2013 and joined the tutor team in 2017. Toby has been an educator throughout his career and he also works as a musician. Toby lives with his husband and two border collies in the remote community of Halfmoon Bay, British Columbia, on Canada's west coast.

is Programme Director of the distance-learning MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology and Associate Professor in Cosmology and Culture at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. His books include Mundane Astrology (with Michael Baigent and Charles Harvey), the definitive book on modern mundane astrology, the two-volume History of Western Astrology (Bloomsbury 2008-09) and Astrology and Cosmology in the World’s Religions (New York University Press, 2012).

MARIELLE CHURAQUI

DFAstrolS

is a London-based astrologer who gained the Faculty Diploma in 2008 and an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in 2012. She is a tutor and the Treasurer of the Faculty. Her approach to astrology is inspired by Jungian ideas, particularly James Hillman’s concept of soul. She also teaches yoga, using yoga techniques to explore astrological themes.

Brian Clark

is the creator of the Astro*Synthesis distance learning program which has been shaped from his experience as an astrological student, counsellor and educator. He is the author of many student publications, articles and books. Brian has his MA in Classics and Archaeology from the University of Melbourne and has been honoured with lifetime membership from the state, national and professional astrological organizations in Australia.
